Search Engine Optimization Tips For Bloggers
Keywords tips: use keywords in your blogs url path.If your are creating your blog first time than make sure that you blog permanent link has been changed.
For ex. Abc.com/my-domain
- Use dashes in url path
- Underscores are 2nd good option..
- No spaces are the worst option (recommended don’t use).
Most Importantly, Include keywords naturally in your post (think about the keywords that user will search to find your site).
- Include ALT tags for all Images.
- Make your site is crawlable for all Major Search Engines.
Use Google Analytics and Google Webmaster tool to track your blog traffic etc…
It will help you to understand user behavior.
- Put you eye on bounce rate
- Don’t forget to test your robot.txt file before pushing it live.
- Check your backlinks on daily basis.
- Make sure there is no 404s crawl error.
- Check your site crawl status.
- Put .htaccess in /wp-admin/ (not in your root directory!)
