Google and Bing announced a deal with twitter. Google's Marissa Mayer writes: “we are very excited to announce that we have reached an agreement with Twitter to include their updates in our search results. The Los Angeles Times reported on 19th OCT about “A Twitter hole lets you Google protected tweets”. Danny Sullivan is editor-in-chief of Search Engine Land checked with Twitter and got back the official word from their press office: - “The TechCrunch article seems to sum up the confusion pretty well. It seems that the LA Times piece references tweets that were public but later the user protected the account, thus all subsequent tweets are private along with the profile. Google reported revenues of $5.94 billion for the quarter ended September 30, 2009, an increase of 7% compared to the third quarter of 2008.
