1) Content is the king. It always helps you to improve ranking on SERP’s – Posting New Content on site increases the frequency of crawler returning to a site but it’s not going to do much for rankings if it’s not relevant.
2) Meta tags should be rich with keywords to help with rankings. Meta Titles & Description do help with rankings. One of the new black hat techniques stuffed immaterial keywords in Meta tags.
